We are a team of a highly experienced aviation enthusiasts ranging mostly all fields of the aviation industry and covering the balloons, aeroplanes and sailplane professionals. Ability to adapt, help and to solve the problems is our superpower. We operate according to EASA standards and ICAO recommendations. We understand the essential importance of outstanding flight training quality.

ProfiPilot  is driven by an airline, bizav and balloon pilots having the proven aviation-related background for a decades.

History of ProfiPilot

ProfiPilot  originated in 2007 as the private project of Capt. Milan Mazanovský who was attending the professional pilot training at that time. Originally started as  www.profipilot.sk,  the valuable tool for all professional pilot wannabes who were seeking more information about the professional pilot training and Frozen ATPL pathway in general. Later it developed into the famous aviation-related magazine bringing the daily news, photos and other information from the aviation world in the region of Central Europe.

The ProfiPilot.sk was also famous about the aviation-related forum where professional as well as the non-professional topics were discussed. Before the facebook and instagram were cool, the ProfiPilot.sk was a favourite platform to share the plane spotter's photos in the Central European region.

  Current ProfiPilot era

The mission of the web magazine has been completed and  ProfiPilot started to develop into the provider of the aviation-related services. From the web-magazine, the ProfiPilot was transformed into the business company with the focus on being a provider of the very specific aviation-related services. In 2019  ProfiPilot  obtained the SVK.LAB.04 certificate and introduced the  Aero Language . Certification of the SK.ATO.15 was completed in 2024 branded as  ProfiPilot Training . 

The ProfiPilot group currently covers various projects and holds two certificates issued by the EASA member state's authority. Our main field of expertise is aviation-related training and checking. Having our own pool of the web project making  ProfiPilot a  recognized consultancy provider.  ProfiPilot  cooperates with various leading airlines and subjects in the civil aviation. 

There are four main product lines of the ProfiPilot while each of them is branded separately to match the project name with its focus.

ProfiPilot Training  is an EASA flight school  project used by  ProfiPilot  to place the training products of SK.ATO.15 certificate. 

Aero Language is an  EASA Language Testing Body  project used by  ProfiPilot  to promote the products of the SVK.LAB.04 certificate.

ProfiPilot Balloons is a dedicated organization covering the  hot-air balloon  operation of  ProfiPilot . This includes the operation of the  professional hot-air balloon flight school , brand promotion using our hot-air balloon space as well as the commercial balloon operation for the public. 

Least but not last, the  ProfiPilot is a valuable consultancy partner of choice supporting our clients with consultancy and specialized services such as  entry-into-service , EASA organization administration and operational documents compilation. Our happy customers benefit from our experience with various types of airplanes, which we are helping them to launch the operation.

Hot-air Balloon operation

On the top of the current expertise, in 2024 the decision to extend the operational capability of ProfiPilot to hot-air balloons was taken. For this reason ProfiPilot operates the fleet of the hot-air balloon for the commerical operation, media flights as well as for the balloon pilot trainings.
